The AICC invites you to join us in Israel
with Delegation Leaders
Wyatt Roy Kate Jones
In 2015, as Assistant Minister for Innovation Wyatt Roy co-led an amazing Trade Mission to Israel. Joined by over 50 delegates representing business & government from across Australia, Wyatt & Marita Cheng represented two of our youngest ever delegation leaders.
In 2023, Wyatt, now in private enterprise, will return to Israel to investigate the changes in the Israel Innovation landscape in the past seven years, including the global effects of COVID-19, the advancement of Australia’s innovation agenda, and how technological and digital disruption are reshaping the start up and cross industry ecosystems.
As a former Queensland Minister for Innovation, Tourism and Industry Development, Kate Jones has always been a keen advocate for innovation as a driver of change, upskilling and industry advancement. In her role as QLD Minister. Kate oversaw the investment of over $300 million in key innovation initiatives with Advance Queensland. As Minister for the 2018, 21st Commonwealth Games, Kate is keen to explore Israel’s Sports Technology and E-Sports innovation community, especially as Brisbane prepares for the 2032 Olympic & Para Olympic Games as host city.
As Directors of the Tech Council of Australia, Kate & Wyatt continue to influence and shape the technology and innovation agendas across all levels of Australian government and enterprise.
If you are looking to immerse yourself in the "secret sauce" that makes Israel a Global " Innovation Nation" – then express interest to be a part of this exciting mission.
