    Julia Spicer OAM is a vibrant rural entrepreneur and a catalyst for change. Founder of three regional businesses based in Goondiwindi, Qld - Engage & Create Consulting, The Goondiwindi Business Hub and the recently sold House4390.

    Julia has grown the activity and impact of innovation into the farming and business communities across the state.  Julia has a particular gift for engaging woman and indigenous businesses in her work.  Julia assists entrepreneurs and business owners with the work of business plan writing, designing value propositions and attracting grant and investment funds. 

    Julia's mission is to contribute to the vibrancy and viability of rural and regional Australia by helping businesses grow. Through strategic planning, coaching and online courses; Julia does just that.

    Dominique Lamb is an experienced stakeholder advocate.

    Previously, as CEO of the National Retail Association (NRA), Dominique advocated on all areas of policy at a federal and state government level. For instance, she played an integral role in the development of the federal leasing code throughout the COVID lockdown period with industry organisations representing landlords and tenants. Before this, Dominique was Director of NRA Legal providing industrial relations and employment law advice. Dominique has been recognised for her outstanding contribution to the industry with multiple awards and finalist nods.

    Paul Martyn leads the Department of Energy and Public Works (EPW).  With more than 25 years’ experience in economic policy and reform, Paul is leading the development of Queensland’s plan for the energy transformation.  He is responsible for policy around the building and construction industry, and for improved government procurement.  His department, with over 2000 staff, delivers major building projects across Queensland.

    Prior to joining EPW, Paul was Chief Executive Officer of Trade and Investment Queensland, where he spearheaded investment attraction in hydrogen and renewable energy.

    Paul has worked to encourage growth and investment in a wide range of Queensland’s key sectors, including resources, agriculture, manufacturing, tourism, defence industries and high technology – and now energy and building.

    In the Governor-General’s 2022 COVID-19 Honours List, Paul was awarded a Public Service Medal for his leadership of Queensland’s COVID-19 Response and Recovery Taskforce during the pandemic.

    Gert-Jan de Graaff was appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer of Brisbane Airport Corporation Pty Ltd in June 2018.

    Current Board appointments include the position of Director on the Airports Council International Asia-Pacific Regional Board in April 2020 and Director on the Australian Airports Association Board in December 2020.

    Gert-Jan has more than 25 years’ experience in leadership roles at major airports around the world. He started his career in airport management in 1995 with Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in The Netherlands where he had a number of roles. These included management positions in the commercial, finance and strategic departments.

    In 2005 Gert-Jan de Graaff was appointed as Managing Director of ASDC AB, the Company that manages and develops the commercial activities in the terminals of Stockholm-Arlanda Airport in Sweden.

    Between 2007 and 2012 Gert-Jan held senior executive roles with Brisbane Airport Corporation Pty Ltd, including General Manager Commercial Services and General Manager Strategic Planning & Development.

    Prior to his return to Brisbane Airport in 2018 Mr de Graaff lead the bid for Galeão / Rio de Janeiro Airport in Brazil on behalf of Royal Schiphol Group and his most recent position was President & CEO of JFKIAT LLC, the private operators of Terminal 4 at John F Kennedy International Airport since 2014.

    Previous Board appointments include the position of Chairman of Airport Coordination Netherlands, and Board Memberships with Airports Council International North America (WBP), Air Cargo Netherlands, Cargonaut BV, and several tourism attraction agencies.

    Shayne Elliott was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) on 1 January 2016.

    Shayne joined ANZ as CEO Institutional in June 2009 and in 2012 was appointed Chief Financial Officer. In this role he was responsible for all aspects of Finance as well as Group strategy, Legal, Treasury, Investor Relations and Mergers and Acquisitions.

    Shayne has more than 30 years’ experience in international banking including in Australia, New Zealand, USA, UK, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

    Prior to ANZ, Shayne held senior executive roles at EFG Hermes primarily as Chief Operating Officer covering Technology, Risk, Marketing, Operations and HR.

    Shayne was previously with Citigroup for 20 years where he held various senior positions across geographies and business sectors including CEO Global Transaction Services Asia Pacific, Country Head Australia/New Zealand and Country Head Egypt.

    Shayne is a Director of the Financial Markets Foundation for Children and a member of the Australian Banking Association, the Business Council of Australia and the Customs Advisory Board.

    Shayne holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Management Studies and Finance from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

    In 2015, as Assistant Minister for Innovation Wyatt Roy co-led an amazing Trade Mission to Israel. Joined by over 50 delegates representing business & government from across Australia, Wyatt & Marita Cheng represented two of our youngest ever delegation leaders. 

    In 2023, Wyatt, now in private enterprise, will return to Israel to investigate the changes in the Israel Innovation landscape in the past seven years, including the global effects of COVID-19, the advancement of Australia’s innovation agenda, and how technological and digital disruption are reshaping the start up and cross industry ecosystems.

    As a former Queensland Minister for Innovation, Tourism and Industry Development, Kate Jones has always been a keen advocate for innovation as a driver of change, upskilling and industry advancement. In her role as QLD Minister. Kate oversaw the investment of over $300 million in key innovation initiatives with Advance Queensland. As Minister for the 2018, 21st Commonwealth Games, Kate is keen to explore Israel’s Sports Technology and E-Sports innovation community, especially as Brisbane prepares for the 2032 Olympic & Para Olympic Games as host city.

    As Directors of the Tech Council of Australia, Kate & Wyatt continue to influence and shape the technology and innovation agendas across all levels of Australian government and enterprise.
